The mission of the Kentucky Youth Law Project, Inc. is to enhance and protect the legal rights and entitlements of Kentucky's lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, intersex, gender fluid, and gender non-conforming children and youth though free legal representation, education, and public policy advocacy.

Together as a community, we resettle refugees and welcome immigrants. Through KRM, you encourage hope, advocate for newcomers, and transform the lives of those seeking safety.

Kentucky Legal Aid (KLA) is a regional, nonprofit public interest law firm that has zealously advocated for impoverished clients in civil courts since 1977. Our team of attorneys and experts provides free legal advice and representation to low-income, disabled, and elderly people with civil legal problems. We serve clients throughout South Central and Western Kentucky with offices in Bowling Green, Madisonville, Owensboro, and Paducah. We aim to resolve civil legal crises that pose barriers to self-sufficiency and help improve our clients’ quality of life.

The work of TLW builds a local sustainable food economy by demonstrating the viability of producing high quality, naturally grown fruits and vegetables in the urban environment. Our farm sites in Metro Atlanta produce Certified Naturally Grown fruits, vegetables, herbs, flowers and other added-value products. Our model establishes the transformative power of urban agriculture.

The Kentucky Alliance was founded over forty years ago because of the history of racism in Louisville and all over the country. Throughout our history, the approach of the Alliance has been action. Our goal is to mobilize people of color and whites to take action together against specific instances of racism in our community. The Mission Statement is To inform the public and provide a channel for public debate and discussion concerning the human and Constitutional rights of all peoples; to bring together diverse groups of people to support those repressed for racist or political reasons; to work to end racist practices in the community and government; and other activities consistent with the above purposes.

Run by Housing Works, the Keith D. Cylar Community Health Center offers sexual health services, behavioral/mental health care, substance abuse care/management as well as standard primary health care.
