WIC is still open and able to provide contactless service for current and new participants. Appointments are done by phone and online. Once the application is approved, our drive up service at our clinics allows participants to pick up their cards loaded with food benefits. WIC can help qualifying families with food benefits the same day they apply. WIC continues to provide assistance with breastfeeding to WIC mothers needing support.

Hello! I’m Kami. I am an Integrative Health Coach and the founder of Wheelwork Integrative Wellness. I offer wellness coaching and education services to people who want a bit of support on their life journey. It’s my job to hold space for growth, healing, transformation, and resilience-building. I do this by focusing on identity work and energetic health which together give clients a holistic view of wellness that moves them forward toward living their best lives. I believe that we were all created for some unique purpose in this world, and it is only in knowing who we truly are that we are able to share ourselves with others in a way that serves that purpose. I believe that it is in that alignment of purpose that we find true joy. I also believe that energetic health is the key to living a lifestyle of wellness. There are so many sides to our true selves, and our energetic health addresses them all – physical, emotional, mental, spiritual — mind, body, and soul. I have always felt called to the study and practice of healing through connecting with others. My work allows me to draw on my personal and professional knowledge and experience as I support others who are on their own wellness journeys. I have seen this work transform so many lives, and I get excited when I get the opportunity to share it with others.

Since 1971, the African American Archives Auxiliary of the Western Reserve Historical Society (WRHS) has supported the collection, cataloging, promotion, and preservation of the history and heritage of African Americans in Northeast Ohio and throughout the United States. We invite you to share stories about Black life, culture, and consciousness in this historical moment, as the nation grapples with what the New York Times has described as the “parallel plagues ravaging America: the coronavirus and police killings of black men and women.” As the 50th anniversary of AAAA approaches, we are committed to spending more time listening to and learning from our fellow citizens, working to further community awareness of regional history, and sponsoring programs and special events that are consistent with our mission. In line with our mission to tell your stories, we are interested in collecting photographs, correspondence, journals, artowrk, music, and poetry, anything that shows how you, your family, or your neighbors are responding to the challenges of these ongoing crises. The materials you share will become a part of the collections of Western Reserve Historical Society.

Ted Wenske has been providing pro-bono support for peaceful protestors arrested during George Floyd protests in San Antonio. Ted is a member of the Future Indigent Defense Leaders project through the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association and the Texas Indigence Defense Commission, beating out scores of other attorney applicants statewide for the position. Further, he is a graduate of Gideon’s Promise, a rigorous criminal defense training program dedicated to training America’s public defenders to be on the front lines as zealous advocates for the citizen accused.
