The Arkansas Minority Business Loan Mobilization Program was created to assist certified minority business enterprises in obtaining funding when starting a state funded or other approved project. The goal of the program is provide loans to minority business enterprises that are unable to secure financing on reasonable terms through normal lending channels.

The Arkansas Coalition for Peace and Justice (ACPJ) is an association of individuals and organizations who seek to promote peaceful and just relationships between individuals, communities, organizations, governing bodies and the environment; through education, dialogue and action. The coalition is committed to a culture of peace, and building a country where domestic policies are sound and just, and where the world at large is treated with respect and dignity.

Arkansas Black Hall of Fame Foundation helps provide a support system for Arkansas nonprofits working to create positive change for underserved populations. Grants are awarded to programs that benefit African American or other underserved populations in Arkansas. Nonprofits with programs focusing on education, health and wellness, youth development, strengthening families, and economic development are eligible to apply. Grants that mitigate the impact of COVID-19 on these areas will also be considered. Grants typically range from $1,000 to $2,500.

Arkansas Black Gay Men’s Forum (ARBGMF) is a grassroots initiative with the mission to empower, uplift, and unite Black gay men through interactive dialogue and specific programs. ARBGMF serves as a think tank on pressing social, economic, and political issues. We strive to build partnerships with organizations and individuals committed to the empowerment of black gay men.

We are enthusiastic and excited about expanding the opportunity for Arkansans and others to participate in the Underground Railroad for New Life’s journey to enhance birth outcomes for Women in Arkansas and beyond! Birthing Project USA’s founder -Kathryn Hall -Trujillo- and her experiment which began in 1988 to provide social support to community women during pregnancy has grown into an international phenomenon. Communities invest in local birthing projects to help ensure the well-being of future generations.

Welcome to Arkansas Abortion Support Network. We work to reduce barriers to abortion access in Arkansas through clinic escorting, abortion funding, and community outreach & education. We provide abortion support services to Arkansans regardless of race, gender identity, religion, socioeconomic status, ability, incarceration, or citizenship status.

Services include primary care, behavioral health, pharmacies, community outreach programs, and more. Although ARcare isn’t a free clinic, it’s a federally qualified health center (FQHC) with discounted rates, so all the residents of these areas can receive the care they need. We see patients with insurance, without insurance, and with not enough coverage. We see all who need healthcare.

The Appalachian Research and Defense Fund of Kentucky, Inc., known as “AppalReD Legal Aid,” is a private non-profit law firm. Our work is funded by public and private grants and donations. AppalReD offers free civil legal help to eligible low-income people in 37 counties of the Appalachian Mountains and rolling hills of eastern and south-central Kentucky, a region home to more than 240,000 people living in poverty. AppalReD focuses on legal problems that affect our clients’ basic needs for food, shelter, income, personal safety from all forms of abuse, and safety and stability for children and the elderly. AppalReD does not handle criminal matters.
