Queer City Charities is dedicated to uplifting marginalized communities in the Charlotte area. We help connect existing organizations to leverage their individual strengths and reach to better provide safe and sober social, educational, and enrichment opportunities informed and led by the marginalized people themselves. We strive to create events and activities that are accessible and affirming for all people, as we recognize the importance of intersectional approaches to community issues.

"The Fair Housing Justice Center (FHJC), a nonprofit civil rights organization, is dedicated to: eliminating housing discrimination; promoting policies that foster open, accessible, and inclusive communities; and strengthening enforcement of fair housing laws."

Queens Pride House serves the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) communities of Queens. We offer social service programs in areas of counseling, youth services, substance abuse, intimate partner violence, immigration, employment, health care, and legal assistance. The goal of Queens Pride House is to continue to make a difference in the LGBT communities by creating safe spaces to enjoy social, educational and multicultural events.

The Queens LGBT Center (Q-Center) is the LGBT Network's community center located in Long Island City. The Q-Center offers a range of services for LGBT people of all ages, and a safe space for LGBT people to build community. The Q-Center is accessible via the M R trains at the 36th Street station and the Q101 bus at the 37th street stop.
