Drama MaMa is a stationery manufacturing company offering a wide variety of unique notebooks and journals; the Drama MaMa Bookshop believes in the written word. They offer book binding classes called Wine & Bind.

A native of New Jersey, Dr. Boyd has lived and practiced restorative and general dentistry in Vermont since 1987. He is a graduate of the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. He is a member in good standing of the American Dental Association, the Vermont State Dental Society and the Champlain Valley Dental Society. He has completed the Management Program from the Schuster Center for Professional Development and is currently training in Bioesthetic (full mouth reconstructive) Dentistry. He enjoys all aspects of restorative dentistry. His hobbies include: basketball, cooking and piano. He is married and has two children.

In building Dr. Rainbow, Covenant House travelled to every corner of the state to reach out to our LGBTQ community. Our resource guide is composed of the voices from our queer communities in Wheeling, Morgantown, Kingswood, Charleston, Huntington, Lewisburg, Fayetteville, Shepherdstown, and beyond. We participated at community events and visited queer spaces throughout the state asking our LGBTQ family to identify what healthcare providers they personally use who are LGBTQ culturally competent and affirming. In addition, we travelled across the state conducting cultural competency trainings for providers, and conducting outreach to providers interested in joining our movement. Along our journey to find healthcare providers we listened to the feedback of everyone who participated. We also created a general statewide resource guide to help reduce isolationism and link people to support systems throughout the state. Dr. Rainbow’s information is not based on algorithms, but on real West Virginians coming forward to highlight the wonderful healthcare providers and community resources who “welcome all kinds.” Dr. Rainbow can’t stop all stigma and discrimination. It won’t magically fix everything, but this is where we begin to rewrite our story. This is where we come together to take care of each other and help link each other to the best West Virginia has to offer, because it’s good to be queer in the mountain state.

Dr. Marissa N. Coleman is a licensed clinical psychologist offering services in Spanish and English. Her practice encompasses teletherapy services for Georgia and Vermont residents, as well as, comprehensive training and consultation services. She works in multiple international contexts, particularly working with individuals and communities disaffected by human rights violations, conflict/war, torture, health epidemics, and trauma. Utilizing her expertise in traumatology, cultural and community psychologies, she seeks to contribute to local capacity building, infrastructure development, and culturally grounded approaches to what is considered “best practice” in the areas of mental health and psychological well-being.
