Earthworks Urban Farm, founded in 1998, is a program of the Capuchin Soup Kitchen. The farm is located on 2.5 acres of land and is certified organic. We seek to build a just, beautiful food system through education, inspiration, and community development. As a working study in both social justice and in knowing the origins of the food we eat, Earthworks strives to restore our connection to the environment and community.

Our Doulas and Perinatal Health Advocates work to reduce the risk of undesirable pregnancy and birth outcomes, promote perinatal wellness for parents and children, and promote breastfeeding advocacy to all families, while also working to eliminate racial and ethnic disparities in infant and maternal health within undervalued and underrepresented communities.

Also offering full-spectrum doula companionship, “earth seed holistic is a healing practice and consultancy providing botanical offerings, herbal consultations, creativity coaching, energy work, full-spectrum companionship, community facilitation, and knowledge shares centered in plant medicine, cosmic wisdom, and nurturing the creative spirit.”

DVA Productions, Inc. presents the DVA Young Artist Mentor Program. These students, ages 10-21, hail from communities throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth area. These students study (with Artistic Director and Professional Performing Artist Sheran Goodspeed) various disciplines of music, dance, acting and writing. They also learn life skills and service to their community through the Educational, Literacy and Homeless Outreach Programs. DVA Productions is a small nonprofit arts organization that prides itself on providing these services to the students who haven't the resources nor the knowledge of how to pursue careers in professional performance. It also provides excellent and much-needed leadership training. The youth performers bring a socially-conscious, yet fun and energetic message to every audience they touch!!

DRK Beauty Healing officially launched on May 15, 2020. As a part of this first phase of the initiative, we are asking clinicians across America to donate 10+ hours of therapy hours (pro bono).

Through the power of the arts, Dreams of Hope provides the region’s lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, asexual, and allied (LGBTQA+) youth a welcoming environment to grow in confidence, express themselves, and develop as leaders. Their creative contributions educate audiences, build awareness, and increase acceptance.
