The Kansas City Anti-Violence Project (KCAVP) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation committed to providing domestic violence, sexual assault, and hate crimes advocacy and education to the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer community. Currently, we are the only LGBTQ-specific domestic violence or sexual assault services in Missouri. KCAVP was created to address this gap by providing support and services to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender queer and questioning victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and hate violence in the Kansas City, Missouri metro area.

Thomas Health offers a variety of substance abuse and mental health services - inpatient, outpatient programs are available. The Behavioral Health Center provides comprehensive, compassionate programs for adult psychiatric and substance abuse patients. Our Med/Psych Unit is designed to meet the special physical and psychiatric needs of geriatric psychiatric patients. The Addiction Healing Center at Saint Francis Hospital (substance abuse), Beacon Outpatient Services (psychiatric services) provide help on an outpatient or partial hospitalization basis, and Pregnancy Connections. Individuals seeking psychiatric or substance abuse services will receive immediate attention.
