With over 100 full-time staff in 12 offices across West Virginia, Legal Aid of West Virginia (LAWV) is the state's primary provider of civil legal aid and advocacy services. Our mission is to ensure that the most vulnerable among us--low-income families, seniors, victims of domestic violence, the disabled--have an equal shot at justice, in the courtroom and in their communities. Legal Aid of West Virginia (LAWV) focuses its work in three broad program areas: Civil Legal Aid, Behavioral Health Advocacy, and Long-Term and Elder Care (Ombudsman). Each program operates under the LAWV umbrella, providing expertise specific to its program's focus. Together, collaboration across programs allows LAWV to achieve its broader goal of reaching West Virginia's most vulnerable people, providing a continuum of advocacy that results in meaningful solutions for thousands of individuals and families.

This spot focuses on southern-style Creole food with a “cozy, cabin-like space,” which makes for a warm, inviting dining experience. A United Way-affiliated agency since 1990, we currently provide adult primary care, pediatrics, dental care, vision services, behavioral health services, OB/GYN and maternity, vaccinations and immunizations, health promotion and community outreach, wellness and nutrition, and comprehensive HIV/AIDS care.
