Black led non-profit who supports black educators and schools to ensure education that creates better outcomes for black children/communities in New Orleans.

The Black Community Scholarship Fund was established by the Black Community Fund (BCF) Board of Directors to provide scholarship support to African-American students from the Greater Kansas City area seeking educational advancement through a college or university degree or accredited certificate program in areas and fields determined by the Black Community Fund Board of Directors.

The Black Community Fund acknowledges that systemic changes are also needed here in Kansas City, and we are encouraged by what the city’s grassroots activism is accomplishing. In response, we are increasing our funding support for the Black community in the Kansas City area. In addition to our regular philanthropic work in healthcare, education and convening, we feel called to support our community by addressing the most crucial need right now: to feel safe and to be heard. The Black Community Fund will provide $100,000 directly to organizations that address housing security, food security and voter registration.

The Black Church Food Security Network utilizes an asset-based approach in organizing and linking the vast resources of historically African American congregations in rural and urban communities to advancing food and land sovereignty. We work with congregations to establish gardens and agricultural projects on Black Church-owned land.We link farmers with congregations for niche farmer’s markets which happen inside places of worship. We conduct asset-mapping of Black Churches and the neighborhoods where they are located to help leverage their resources and build power for historically marginalized Black communities.

 Black Business Owners of Charlotte was founded in late 2014 and our goal is to empower current and future business owners with resources needed to sustain a lucrative business, while Inspiring them to reach back and uplift their surrounding communities. BBOC's goal is to inspire, enrich, and engage Black Business Owners through business development and community enhancement.

Black Business NOW is a digital magazine that focuses on the promotion of entrepreneurs and their businesses. The businesses featured in this Black Business Now are trailblazers. These businesses have pushed hard, put in the work, and given their time to get where they are. We hope to make this process easier for future businesses.

The BBA’s goal is to act as a business One-Stop organization for Black and minority businesses with an objective to stimulate economic growth and sustainability through out Connecticut and across the nation.

Chef Louis grew up in the restaurant and catering business, working from a young age alongside his chef grandparents. Black Betty's Bistro opens its kitchen in their honor...named for the old cast-iron stove that sat in the middle of a large room at their ranch home in Texas, a place which held generations of a large family, serving love, laughter, nourishment and soul with each unforgettable meal.
