We invite senior adults to enroll in many regular college courses as guests of the University through our Senior Guest Program. Continue your education for free. Offered through the AUM Registrar's Office, this unique program allows seniors 60 and over a chance to take courses at no cost. How much you participate is really between you and your instructor. Maybe there is something you've always wanted to learn; the Senior Guest Program allows you to pursue more education purely for the joy of learning. You benefit from the chance to continue learning, while our more traditional students benefit from your experience, your ideas and insights and your commitment to lifelong learning.

The Semilla Collective of New Haven is a grassroots collective formed in the Fall of 2019 to fight side by side with immigrant and working families, and to host cultural events in our community. Our founding group includes workers, community organizers, healthcare workers, public school educators, legal professionals, students, parents, artists, and more. A diverse group of immigrants and immigrant allies living on Quinnipiac land in New Haven, we are using our collective imagination to build a better world for future generations.

The Self-Help Resource Center offers live (in-person) help to people who go to court on their own, without a lawyer. The Self-Help Resource Center offers forms, other information, and referrals to appropriate local agencies.

The Self Advocate Coalition of Kansas (SACK) is a statewide advocacy group made up of adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities, the majority of whom receive services through the Kansas Developmental Disabilities Service System. SACK encourages and teaches people to speak up for themselves and to obtain the highest possible level of independence.

Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee opened its doors in 1978 with commitment from several community leaders. The purpose of the organization was to provide a central distribution center for companies, groups, and individuals who wished to help provide food for hungry people in Middle Tennessee.
