Our program focuses on providing fresh produce to families in need at no cost. We are able to achieve this by partnering with produce distributors in Dallas that provide produce at no cost to us. In the three years, Harvest Project Food Rescue has redistributed over a million pounds of produce and has fed over 7,500 families in the Dallas area.

Welcome to Taking Ownership, a small-but-mighty community collective of contractors, realtors, neighbors, and businesses brought together by Portland musician, activist Randal Wyatt. Together we renovate and revive Black-owned homes that have requested our help, with an emphasis on enabling Black homeowners to age in place, generate wealth and simultaneously deter predatory investors and realtors to deflect the gentrification process. While nothing can undo the decades of harm imposed upon Portland's Black community via deliberate historical redlining, gentrification and systemic racism, Taking Ownership is turning the tide with a commitment to impactful grassroots change in support of the Black residents of our city. Taking Ownership is dedicated to raising funds and awareness with a team of passionate activists aided by volunteers hitting the streets and making a significant difference in the lives of our Black neighbors. We are always looking for volunteers, and we will put your skills to work, whether it be by fixing a toilet, fundraising, repairing a roof, or putting out the call for resources - Taking Ownership has a need for your time and talent. Together, we are a strong and powerful presence offering support to the Black community that helped shape Portland, this wonderful city we call home.

We distribute 27 million pounds of food each year throughout the state. We rescue, pack, transport, and deliver nutritious food to soup kitchens, shelters, food pantries, and schools in twenty counties in South Carolina.

TAKE is an organization in Birmingham, AL - founded and led by two transgender Black women. The group aims to provide awareness for trans-issues, such as discrimination in the workplace, housing advocacy, support for sex workers, and providing trans-friendly services. In addition to this, they provide a Crisis Action Fund, healthy living educational sessions and programming, legal services, life coaching, a boutique for trans men and women to receive clothing and hygiene products, as well as providing a drop-in center for those who need a safe space within their communities.

Harvest Hope is on a mission to eliminate hunger and food insecurity in South Carolina. We rescue nutritious food from stores throughout the state and distribute it to food pantries, shelters, and soup kitchens. We operate programs that provide food for our most vulnerable citizens – children, seniors, and rural residents who don’t have access to grocery stores. We also run our own emergency food pantries in Greenville and Columbia where anyone in need can get a week’s supply of groceries for free. Harvest Hope began in 1981 as the result of a shared vision of business leaders and the faith community, who set out to provide for the hungry in Columbia. Since then, Harvest Hope has increased its mission to feed the hungry across 20 counties in South Carolina.

Table to Table is a community-based food rescue program that collects perishable food that would otherwise be wasted and delivers it to organizations that serve the hungry in Bergen, Essex, Hudson and Passaic counties. We “rescue” food from about 150 donors (supermarkets, food distributors, restaurants and commercial kitchens) and deliver it the same day free of charge to over 200 community organizations including food pantries, shelters, day care/after school programs, senior adult centers, and programs serving the working poor.
