The Miami Climate Alliance’s mission is to build urgency, power, and cohesion by activating the Miami community through strategic actions that recognize climate change as a threat multiplier to all forms of justice, especially for low-income frontline communities, and to create a model for just, equitable, and resilient communities in the face of climate change by achieving substantive wins that will increase the wellbeing of Miami residents in both the present and future.

Meetup is a platform for finding and building local communities. People use Meetup to meet new people, learn new things, find support, get out of their comfort zones, and pursue their passions, together.

The Loveland Therapy Fund provides financial assistance to black women and girls seeking therapy on a national level. Through partnerships with Therapy for Black Girls and the National Queer & Trans Therapists of Color Network — both with participating therapists in Miami — Therapy Fund recipients in Miami and South Florida can gain access to mental-health professionals who provide culturally competent services to black women and girls.

Iowa Legal Aid is a nonprofit organization providing critical legal assistance to low-income and vulnerable Iowans who have nowhere else to turn. Along with volunteer lawyers throughout the state, Iowa Legal Aid helps the legal system work for those who cannot afford help with legal issues.

The Loveland Foundation was established in 2018 by Rachel Cargle in response to her widely successful birthday wish fundraiser, Therapy for Black Women and Girls. Her enthusiastic social media community raised over $250,000, which made it possible for Black women and girls nationally to receive therapy support. Black women and girls deserve access to healing, and that healing will impact generations.The Loveland Foundation is the official continuation of this effort to bring opportunity and healing to communities of color, and especially to Black women and girls. Through fellowships, residency programs, listening tours, and more, ultimately we hope to contribute to both the empowerment and the liberation of the communities we serve.

Iowa Justice For Our Neighbors (IowaJFON) is a non-profit organization, welcoming low-income immigrants of all faiths into our churches and communities by providing free, high-quality immigration legal services, education, and advocacy.

The Little Pantry That Could was established in 2010. We are set up like a free grocery store. We distribute fresh produce, shelf-stable foods and basic necessities every Saturday morning from 9AM to 1PM.

We are committed to building power among people impacted by the war on drugs, including people who use drugs and communities of color; committed to acceptance of stigmatized and minoritized peoples and people who use drugs; and committed to dismantling systems of race, class, and gender-based privilege.

Working to protect the environment and preserve the only home we have is a mission driven by a belief in justice - justice for all to have access to clean air and water, justice for all children to have a livable future. Our belief in such justice extends, unequivocally, to belief in justice for all people regardless of race.

The Link & Option Center, Inc., is a comprehensive, nonprofit human services organization and Community Mental Health Center and Certified Behavioral Health Clinic, that continues its commitment to being personally responsive to the plight of children, youth, adults and families’ most indigenous barriers to opportunities since its foundation in 1995.
