Gilliams Community Farm exists to provide access to fresh fruits and vegetables for our community, as well as promoting hands-on, educational experiences for students. We are a Urban Garden in Southwest Atlanta. We don’t use any synthetic herbicides, pesticides, fertilizers, antibiotics, hormones, or genetically modified organisms. We harvest daily as each vegetable reaches the perfect size and ripeness for the dinner table.

The Georgia Latino Alliance for Human Rights (GLAHR) educates, organizes and trains the Latino community in Georgia to defend and promote their civil and human rights. GLAHR offers a “hotline” that provides Latino immigrants and their families, in the event that they are mistreated, abused, or detained, with information and referrals. Their efforts also include the Georgia Immigration Bond Fund, which is designated to provide financial assistance to individuals at one of the four detention centers in Georgia: Stewart Detention Center, Irwin County DC, Folkston DC, and Robert A. Deyton DC - known to be some of the worst detention centers in the U.S.

Each year, Genesis Center serves over 1,000 individuals in adult education and workforce development and over 100 children in its childcare program. Our adult education classes and occupational/job skills training focus on enabling people to improve their employment skills, pay scales, and prospects for promotion.
