SOFT CORNER Midwifery was born out of a desire to change the prescriptive reproductive health care system. We believe individualized health care should always be available in a loving and respectful environment. Our Licensed Midwives are here to create safe spaces and nurture smooth transitions. Everyone deserves access to high-quality reproductive health care. At our core, we value autonomy, justice, and equity. We believe in providing empowering reproductive care while fostering intuition and self-advocacy. SOFT CORNER Midwifery uses a current and evidence-based approach, keeping you informed and confident throughout your decision-making process. Proudly offering full-spectrum reproductive midwifery care in an always-inclusive environment since 2013.

Gilliams Community Farm exists to provide access to fresh fruits and vegetables for our community, as well as promoting hands-on, educational experiences for students. We are a Urban Garden in Southwest Atlanta. We don’t use any synthetic herbicides, pesticides, fertilizers, antibiotics, hormones, or genetically modified organisms. We harvest daily as each vegetable reaches the perfect size and ripeness for the dinner table.

The Georgia Latino Alliance for Human Rights (GLAHR) educates, organizes and trains the Latino community in Georgia to defend and promote their civil and human rights. GLAHR offers a “hotline” that provides Latino immigrants and their families, in the event that they are mistreated, abused, or detained, with information and referrals. Their efforts also include the Georgia Immigration Bond Fund, which is designated to provide financial assistance to individuals at one of the four detention centers in Georgia: Stewart Detention Center, Irwin County DC, Folkston DC, and Robert A. Deyton DC - known to be some of the worst detention centers in the U.S.

After appearances on the Food Network's "Cupcake Wars" season one, two and seven as well as on the hit daytime talk show "THE VIEW". USA TODAY listed as one of the TOP TEN CUPCAKES places to try in the country.

Administered through the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, DC chapter. From their website, the program "was developed to help black woman and girl entrepreneurs in Washington, DC by investing in and supporting activities that promote development, growth, and sustainability of businesses."

The mission of the Georgia Citizens Coalition on Hunger is to end hunger, homelessness and poverty in communities of color across the state of Georgia. We facilitate our mission through the projects and programs of the Hunger Coalition. Our vision is to achieve well-being for all families, so that their necessities of life are met. This includes having access to nutritious affordable food, safe and affordable comprehensive healthcare and a quality education for everyone.

Their mission statement: To eradicate the adverse impact of HIV, sexual and reproductive health rights and justice challenges impacting women and their families through education, prevention, support, research and human rights advocacy in the United States and around the world. Founded by Dázon Dixon Diallo in 1989, SisterLove provides HIV/AIDS prevention education, as well as transitional housing and support social services to HIV positive women and their children. The mission of SisterLove is to eradicate the adverse impact of HIV, sexual and reproductive health rights and justice challenges impacting women and their families through education, prevention, support, research and human rights advocacy in the United States and around the world.

Each year, Genesis Center serves over 1,000 individuals in adult education and workforce development and over 100 children in its childcare program. Our adult education classes and occupational/job skills training focus on enabling people to improve their employment skills, pay scales, and prospects for promotion. Our on-site early learning center helps adult students attend classes knowing that their children are nearby and well cared for.
