The Southwest Detroit Immigrant and Refugee Center provides free and low-cost legal services to those who need them most in the Detroit area, with a focus on recent immigrants and asylum seekers. We have three core mission priorities: Provide low-cost legal services to immigrants and refugees seeking to make a home in the city of Detroit; Offer low-cost housing to immigrants and refugees who have difficulty finding long-term residences in the city of Detroit; and Assist businesses owned by Detroit residents from vulnerable communities in obtaining business resources, professional support, and/or immigration status.

The Leading Voice for the Greater Houston LGBTQ+ Business Community Join the Greater Houston LGBT Chamber of Commerce and engage with a network of LGBT and allied business owners and corporate partners to support business development and business growth. The Greater Houston LGBT Chamber of Commerce offers a unique opportunity to connect with the LGBT and supportive business community through networking and business development programming.

Southwest Detroit Environmental Vision (SDEV) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to improve the environment and strengthen the economy of Southwest Detroit through the partnership with residents, community organizations, government agencies, schools, businesses and industry to combat environmental issues, including air quality, blight (illegal dumping, graffiti, abandoned homes), and incompatible land use.

Working to ensure that the Delray/Southwest Detroit community receives protections and community benefits with the GHIB Bridge. The Southwest Detroit Community Benefits Coalition is a community-initiated organization with an elected community board that has been working on behalf of hundreds of residents and community stakeholders to identify the community's needs for mutually beneficial development in exchange for hosting the Gordie Howe International Bridge (GHIB) project.

Mission: “To achieve equal justice for poor people, to work with clients to promote social justice, and to address the effects and root causes of poverty.” As a legal aid organization, we understand and accept our responsibility to fight racial injustice and systemic oppression of Black people—both in our community and nationwide. Jack and Jill of America, Inc. is committed to ensuring that all children have the same opportunities in life.
