When I first decided that I wanted to make a change with my life to be healthier I thought do a little exercise and magically I'd be healthier. Well reality check it wasn't that simple. I struggled because I didn't have the tools or knowledge to accomplish my goal on my own. My friend suggested I give her trainer a try. I was very reluctant. I didn't want someone who was only going to tell me what I was doing wrong. When I met Shelby I was so surprised at her compassion. She was very professional but also very personal if that makes sense. She didn't just see me as a client. She saw me as a person. She taught me that it's not just about exercise but a life change as a whole. She put together a meal plan for me that was very do able. She taught me how to meal prep. She taught me how to look at food as my bodies fuel and not just instant gratification from sweets, junk food, soda's ect. I was so shocked at how much my those things weighed me down. At first it was hard because my body craved those things like an addiction, but Shelby was there pushing me to hang in there and not give in. She taught me exercises that was designed to help me with my trouble areas. She has been my rock along this journey. One of the best decisions I ever made was when I agreed to meet my friend's trainer. If you need someone that's professional, compassionate, knowledgeable, and real I suggest you give Ms. Shelby Salley a try. You won't be disappointed.
