PERRO's Goals are: Advocating for the health and safety of the Pilsen community. Informing residents about the health dangers of pollution from all sources in Pilsen. Working with the city departments, the EPA, and elected officials at the all levels to develop a solution for reducing pollution and making Pilsen a cleaner place to live, work, and breathe. Achieving a significant reduction in pollution from industrial sources in Pilsen. Achieving this clean up without causing industrial jobs or business to be lost.

The Phipps Neighborhoods Financial Empowerment Center provides confidential, one-on-one counseling for individuals who need tools and support to better manage their finances. Trained counselors help clients identify their financial challenges and guide them in addressing bad credit, paying down debt, and improving financial habits.

For more than 20 years, Philadelphia Legal Assistance (PLA) has provided free civil legal assistance to low-income individuals and families in Philadelphia. About 30% of the people in Philadelphia live in families with incomes below the federal poverty level. For those who are low-income, elderly, or disabled, our legal assistance is often crucial for them to protect their homes, their children, their safety, and their livelihood. PLA is dedicated to helping those who cannot afford legal counsel navigate the legal system and understand and safeguard their rights.

The Philadelphia Independent Media Fund awards grants to Philadelphia area independent media makers with digital video and audio projects in three areas: Planning - for projects in the planning/pre-production stage - awards of up to $2,000 Next Level - for projects that require a professional consultant to bring to the next level of production - awards of up to $500 Finishing - for projects in the postproduction stage with an anticipated completion date of twelve months from the grant award date - awards of up to $3,500
